testing the blog

i have chosen to take my big mouth and my somewhat ordinary ideas to a platform where my friends may choose to continue to know what is on my mind. for their own reasons of course. and i hope it will also be built in such a way that those friends may comment, see each others' comments, and interact if they choose. i know i cannot create an alternate facebook, nor would i want to. i just want to remain available without immersing myself in the hatred and disinformation that finds its way into social media.

this is my first test.
